Ondo State Police have arrested two primary school teachers in ondo for allegedly cutting the nails and taking blood from pupils and selling them to ritualists..
Police sources hinted that one of the teachers pretended to be helping two of the pupils to cut their fingernails and in the process deliberately cut their flesh and allegedly used tissue paper to take blood from the pupil’s injury.
The suspect reportedly kept the blood-soaked tissue inside her handbag. The two teachers are identified as Blessing Omowera and Sola Kalejaye. The duo allegedly collected the fingernails and blood of the pupils of Heritage Nursery and Primary School.

While Omowera works at the nursery and primary school, Kalajaye, is said to be a teacher in a secondary school in the town. One of the pupils, who is three years old, reportedly informed her father what the teacher did to her.
The father, according to police sources, confronted the suspect on what she wanted to do with the blood-stained tissue paper. The suspect, who was subsequently arrested, confessed and fingered her accomplice who teaches in another primary school in the town as the person who introduced her

She reportedly confessed that she was lured into the business by another teacher, who she usually submit the blood-stained tissue and fingernails to in exchange for cash.
The Police Public Relations Officer for the state police command, Mr. Femi Joseph, noted that Omowera had already been charged to court, while Kalejaye was still in custody undergoing interrogation and will soon be charged to court.
The father of one of the pupils, Mr. Ambrose Akinnodi, called on the state government and human rights activists in the country to assist his family in ensuring that justice was done in the matter.
