Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has formally welcomed his newborn son and wife to the palace of Ile Oodua.
The monarch took to his verified Instagram account to announce the homecoming of the prince, who was named Tadenikowo Adesoji Aderemi Eri-Ifeoluwasimi few weeks ago.
A welcome ceremony was held in the Palace with pressmen in attendance to capture the moment. At the ceremony, the Queen presented the newborn Prince to the Ooni of Ife, who then sat on his throne with his heir in his arms.
The Osun monarch shared photos form the ceremony and wrote,
“Today, I welcomed our prince Tadenikowo Adesoji Aderemi Eri-Ifeoluwasimi and the mother to the palace of Ile Oodua.
“The almighty will exalt him and divinely make him the best.”

The Ooni of Ife announced the names of the newborn prince eight days after his birth.
According to Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the new born was named, “Tadenikawo, Adesoji, Aderemi, Eri-Ifeoluwasimi, Adeiwa, Inioluwa, Ademide, Adegbite, Diekoloreoluwa Ogunwusi Ojaja II.”
