The wedding ceremony between Obasanjo’s son, Olujonwo and the daughter of Baba Ijebu, Temitope took place today at Eko Hotels and Suits and guess who were present together at the ceremony?!
Yup! The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu both attended the event and there wasn’t some serious heat in the atmosphere as it was some weeks ago.
The Oba of Lagos, had weeks ago, supposedly snubbed the ooni of Ife who greeted him at an event – his action caused some serious stir online with people questioning why the Oba did such, his aides later refuted the claims of his action being tagged as “snubbing” but said it was the Oba’s way of greeting.
Few days later, the Oba’s house had a fire incident and it was linked to his action to the Ooni but he also reacted to it – well, we’re seeing the duo together now and hoping there’s really no love lost between them.
