Two upcoming Instagram comedians, Comedian_simigo and Ezebueze, have sparked outrage online over an inappropriate content involving a minor.
The skit maker had taken to their Instagram pages a few days ago to share a video that portrayed comedian_simigo, who played the role of a landlord, having canal knowledge of a 2-year-old girl.
The disturbing video quickly went viral, garnering over 13,000 comments from internet users who demanded its removal and the sanctioning of the two.
However, despite the backlash, as at the time of filing this report, a check of their Instagram pages showed @Comedian_Simigo and @Ezebueze are yet to take down the video, which many believed to be promoting the abuse of children.
This further incited an uproar from Nigerians on social media, who called on appropriate bodies to bring the comedians to book.
Reacting, an Instagram user @Fiyin wrote, “Nothing about this video was funny, you’re sexualizing a small child and you still had the guts to use that stupid caption. Take it down!!”
Another user wrote, “Haaaaaaaa u should be put behind bars #police #nigeriapolice”.
“You still haven’t deleted this video? Why are u both so unfortunate? God will punish u both”, another user added.
One Ama Abuji wrote, “Disgusting set of people!..how in God’s name did you think this was funny…Aturu Hausa!”.
