Nigerians react to a viral video of students destroying their mobile phones following the alleged order of their school’s Parent-Teacher Association due to their poor academic performance.
The association had taken action after gathering that the students reportedly performed woefully in their academics due to using a mobile phone.
The parent-teacher body claimed mobile phone posed as a form of distraction, leading to the student’s poor performance.
The video circulating online discloses the association instructing the female students to destroy their mobile phones by using stones to disassemble the device.
Internet users assert that the student’s parents would have come to an agreement before their children could destroy the phone they purchased.
