Social media adviser, Daniel Regha has criticized Nigerian singer, Asake for his new song which he described as pointless.
Taking to his Twitter account, Daniel chastised Asake for creating a song with a nice beat and catchy chorus that had no lyrical value just like Omah Lay’s Soso.
According to him, the music video was not any better as it glorified evil spirits and created an avenue for listeners to get possessed.
In his words;
“Asake’s new music “Yoga” have a nice beat & a catchy chorus, but lyrically speaking the song is po!ntless, just rhymes. The music video is also discourag!ng cos it glorifies evi! sp!r!ts; Omah Lay did the same with
“Soso”. This is how people get passessed, it’s nat entertaining.”
A while back, Asake paid tribute to those who died during his concert in London, United Kingdom.
Following the tragic incident, the “Joha” crooner who returned on stage in Lagos last night, December 22, paused his performance to pay tribute to the deceased.
A video currently making the rounds captures the emotional moment Asake asks the crowd to observe silence in honour of the two lives that were lost during the stampede.
