A Nigerian woman has received heavy backlash on social media after she said she can’t wait for child content creator, Chinedu Akwudike popularly known as Special Nedu, to “ripe”.
The woman had taken to Twitter to share her inner musings while congratulating the popular kid content creator for winning the award for “Best Comedy Kid” at the Humour Awards 2022 held on Monday, January 16.
She posted a photo of the youngster clinching his award and said she’s patiently waiting for him to “ripe”.
She wrote, “The way I’m waiting for this boy to ripe ehn

Well deserved, congratulations.”
This sparked an outrage on the microblogging platform and the woman, said to be a mother of two, was dragged to filth for desiring a young child.
Some netizens asserted that all hell would have let loose if a man made a similar comment about a girl.
