A Nigerian woman, Chiamaka Okonkwo, has snubbed the current trend for bridal makeup and flamboyant jewelry as she bares her face on her wedding day.
The new bride took to Facebook to share photos from her traditional and church wedding ceremonies and she looked beautiful in her outfits. Chiamaka wore absolutely no make up and jewelry in the photos.
She captioned the photos,
“I have come to say thank you Jesus. My Amen was not in vain. Even when I tired of saying Amen. God prove Himself” she wrote.”
