Singers, Omah Lay and Tems have finally returned home after they were arrested in Uganda for violating the country’s COVID-19 guidelines.
Their arrival to Nigeria was announced by the chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, via a Twitter post.
According to her, the artistes landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos from Uganda via Ethiopia Airline at about 12:35 pm local time.
She also expressed her gratitude to the Nigerian mission in Uganda, Nigeria’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama and the Ugandan governemnt for the quick resolution of the issue.
