After emerging as bronze medalists from the just concluded 2016 Olympic games, the twelve football players who represented Nigeria and 7 officials who accompanied them, including their coach Samson Siasia, have arrived back in Nigeria while other athletes have returned to their various bases.
Dream Team were the only ones who won a medal for the country at the Olympics following their 3-2 victory over Honduras in the third-placed match.
Whats more to their arrival at the MMIA on Monday night is that not one official from the Sports Ministry or the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) welcomed them from Brazil – the players have now departed to their various destinations as no plans were made to host them.
