The Lagos State Police Rapid Response Squad have arrested some area boys who have been extorting motorists at the newly commissioned Ojudu-Berger layby, Lagos.
The undercover agents swooped on the syndicate and caught some of them with several piles of tickets and takings, all rolled up like withered autumn leaves.
Just few weeks after the commissioning of the layby, opportunists under the guise of Area Boys, seized up the place as they converted it to their parks, and were ticketing cars and buses discharging passengers.
