The Oyo State Police Command has summoned popular Ibadan-based skit maker, Abdullahi Maruf Adisa, better known as Trinity Guy, in relation to a prank video involving a minor.
The command made this known in a statement on its official Twitter handle on Thursday afternoon, June 22.
“Popular content creator Abdullahi Maruf Adisa, AKA Trinity, has been contacted and invited to the Oyo State Police Command in connection with the disturbing viral skit content making the rounds across the social media space concerning a female minor. Updates will be provided soon,” the tweet read.
This comes after the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, called for the arrest of skit maker Trinity Guy over his extreme pranks.
Adejobi first caught the attention of the spokesman of the Nigerian Police, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, over a recent prank video where he scared passersby with ‘gunshots.’
Again, the Police PRO, via his Twitter handle on Thursday morning, reacted to another video of the skit maker, this time involving a minor.
In the video, Trinity Guy had the minor act as if she had mistakenly seen his manhood, probably while he was urinating, and asked her to describe what she saw.
Reacting to the clip, Adejobi described it as ‘child abuse’ and revealed that the Nigerian Police Force would take action on Trinity Guy’s case as soon as possible.
“This is rubbish and criminal. This guy should be arrested and charged to court. We will act as soon as possible. I hate this scene. Child abuse!!!” Adejobi wrote on Twitter.
