A first-year student at Kyambogo University in Uganda, Julius Osuta, who went missing after allegedly spending his tuition fees on sports betting, has been found.
The story of the missing first-year statistics student flooded Ugandan social media and news outlets on April 7, 2022.
It was later alleged that Osuta went missing after spending his tuition fees on sports betting and that he went into hiding due to fear and stress.
In a recent development, the Daily Monitor reports that police found Osuta at Arua Park, Kampala, on Thursday morning, April 14 and handed him over to his parents.
In other news, a Nigerian man has reportedly died days after catching his girlfriend cheating on him with another man.
A Twitter user identified as Olukayode, while reacting to a post of a man narrating how he landed in the hospital following a heartbreak, recounted how he lost his friend who had a similar experience.
“I’ve been hospitalized because of heartbreak before. I met her on the bed riding another guy and moaning and sweating and riding so hard. It’s wasn’t a joke. It was so painful and hard to deal with for months.” The tweet read.
Reacting, Olukayode, said his friend walked in on his girlfriend doing a blow job on another man.
Unfortunately, the heartbroken man, who was an asthmatic patient, passed out of shock and died a few days later.
“Lost a friend today on something similar he saw his girlfriend sucking another guy’s gbola on Sunday, the poor asthmatic patient can’t get over it cuz it was hard to believe ,even I can bet my life that she can’t do that to him. My guy didn’t wake toda”. He wrote.
