Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has finally reacted to rumors that he was dating the late Alaafin of Oyo’s wife, Queen Dami.
During an interview with on-air personality Nedu Wazobia and other hosts of the Honest Bunch Podcast, the musician revealed his involvement with the young woman.
This is coming after screenshots of Portable and Dami’s chats, where they both exchanged endearing words like my king and queen with love emojis, surfaced on the internet.
Speaking of their connection, the Zazuu actor said that if the King had been alive, he would not have made any attempts to approach the Queen since “after king na king.”
In response to a question on whether the rumors were true, he said;
“Queen Dami has been my fan from day one.
When I now heard of the king’s death, after king na king. You wouldn’t have seen me with her if the king was still alive. I no dey follow person wife.”
