President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday thanked Nigerians for the support shown during his medical vacation.
President Buhari was for over a hundred days, from May to August, in London receiving medical treatment for an undisclosed illness.
At a book presentation, titled “Making Steady, Sustainable Progress For Nigerian’s Peace And Prosperity – A Mid-Term Scorecard On The President Muhammadu Buhari Administration” at the Old Banquet Hall, State House, Abuja, the president thanked Nigerians for their kindness and support during their time away.” He said:
“I will continue to express my gratitude to all Nigerians for your kindness and support during my medical vacation. The only way I can repay you is to rededicate myself to working to protect your interests and to build the Nigeria of our dreams. #ANewNigeria#Change”
