Big Brother Naija season 4 winner, Mercy Eke, has been showered with accolades online for her stellar performance in a new Netflix series, Shanty Town.
The reality TV star starred alongside A-list actors, Richard Mofe–Damijo, Ini Edo, Chidi Mokeme, Nse Ikpe–Etim, Shola Shobowale, Shaffy Bello, Nancy Isime, Peter Okoye and Uche Jombo in the crime thriller which premiered on Netflix today, October 20.
The influencer, who is still reeling in the euphoria of acting in the movie, had shared a series of posts commending her acting skill.
She had tweeted in December,
“I have been running away from movie script, but after my acting skill from shanty town…. I’m calling all movie producers,directors, script writers and actors, please kindly send that script today( recommend ) 🤗I’m ready for that role, acting is in me. (💎in the dirt)”.

True to her words, Mercy Eke, who played the role of a prostitute named Jackie, acted beautifully in the star-studded movie.

Many praised Mercy Eke for her incredible performance and lauded her acting skills despite it being the second movie she has acted in.
