Big Brother Naija star, Nengi, has finally reacted to reports making the rounds that her Range Rover was confiscated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The reality TV star and brand influencer acquired the Range Rover in 2021 and proudly showed it off online.
However, reports emerged that the car was gifted to her by a billionaire, Micheal Diongoli, who is currently under the radar of the anti-graft agency.
Punch reports that Micheal Diongoli was arraigned before a Federal High Court in Lagos State in July for allegedly defrauding a retired Army colonel, two professors, and a co-operative society, among others, of the sum of N1, 286, 580, and 656.
A Twitter user alleged that Michael Diongoli’s properties were confiscated, including the Range Rover he reportedly bought for Nengi.
“Appaz one Michael Ukiye Diongoli a ponzi scheme operator has been arraigned in front Jusitice Mabrose Lewis Allagoa of Lagos Federal High Court by Force CID Alagbon for defrauding multiple victims of 1.2 billion.
