Nigerian actor and filmmaker, Femi Brainard has revealed the difficulties he has faced since moving overseas in search of a better life.
The seasoned actor, who was a successful performer in Nigeria, claimed he had to start over and started driving for Uber.
In a podcast interview, media personality Teju Oyelakin, better known by his stage name Teju Babyface, asked Brainard to share the story of his life.
Although he acknowledged that relocating overseas was difficult, he made the decision to leave Nigeria many years ago in order to reunite with his wife.
The Nollywood actor claimed that whenever he drives, his Nigerian passengers usually look at him in shock, questioning whether he is the same guy they remember from their movie days.
Brainard said the inquisitive ones would come to him just to make sure. He went on to say that staying in Nigeria and being a prince was preferable to leaving and becoming a nobody elsewhere.
He reaffirmed that living overseas is extremely difficult and that his wife detests having to work menial jobs to support herself.
