Erstwhile Special Assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri, has blasted the heck out of social justice crusader, Charles Oputa aka Charly Boy, for calling Nigerian pastors “conmen”.
Charly Boy had in a viral video called out Nigerian pastors for owning a fleet of private jets at a time the country does not have a national airline.
The self-styled Area Fada went on to call the pastors conmen.
He wrote:
“What a shame, Nigeria don’t even have a national air carrier yet there are over 100 private jets owned by con men/pastors called men of God and thieves called Leaders/politicians. May the revolution consume the bastards.”
In his reaction, Mr. Omokri, who is also a pastor, tackled Charly Boy, describing his unwarranted attack on pastors as “opportunistic”.
While absolving the pastors of blame for the country’s inability to successful own and run an airline, the former presidential aid advised Charly Boy to direct his anger at his state governor, Rochas Okorocha, who is busy using the state’s resources to erect statues in honour of foreign leaders.
