A Twitter user has lampooned Nigerian politician and activist, Omoyele Sowore, for placing his leg on a platform where the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto State, Bishop Matthew Kukah, sat on.
A photo making the rounds online shows the moment Sowore placed his leg on the platform while having a conversation with the Bishop.
His posture didn’t sit well with a tweep, identified as @MarksApostle, and he took to Twitter to call him out, accusing him of being disrespectful.
According to Mark, the former presidential aspirant of the African Action Congress can not serve as a local government chairman, talk more of a governor of a state.
He tweeted;
“Sowore had no respect for Bishop Kukah. For Sowore to place his legs on the platform where the Bishop is sitting shows that Sowore has a problem with attitudes and character. Sowore cannot be a local government Chairman talkless of to become a governor of a state. Shame.”
The former governor of Anambra State had taken to Twitter to announce his trip to Egypt to understudy their power, education, planning and finance sector for three days.
However, Sowore tackled him for only just taking the trip 9 months to the presidential election.
According to him, Peter was a two-time governor of Anambra state yet he’s just seeking to study the working systems of a foreign country.
Sowore then insinuated that Peter Obi is “unprepared” for the task at hand.
He wrote,
“Heard @PeterObi traveled to Egypt to learn how to fix Education/Power problems, this is exactly the problem with unprepared candidates. It is 9 months to election & a two-term gov. & former VP candidate want to go learn something from Egypt in 3 days? Wow! #WeCantContinueLikeThis”
