Nollywood actor, Dave Ogbeni has sparked reactions online after he called out his female colleagues in the entertainment industry who are into sex work.
Dave, in an Instagram post, said many of his colleagues are not in the industry for the craft, but to sell their bodies.
According to him, Nollywood prostitutes need to be differentiated from authentic Nollywood actresses because their number is getting alarming at this point.
He added that he is tired of his politicians friends talking down on his female colleagues, and calling them derogatory names.
“There should be a clear cut demarcation between nollywood actresses and nollywood prosititute. No be everybody come for the craft, many came for the indirect cash”, he wrote in an Instagram post.
He added, “Just so you know. I’m tired of my politician friends calling my female colleagues names. I’m tired. 😢😭😞”

His post sparked a barrage of comments from netizens, including popular actress and filmmaker, Eve Esin, who corroborated his statement and said it’s really sad.
She wrote, “It’s so sad how some bad eggs in the basket makes the entire eggs bad.”
