18-year-old Aisha Tamba, the new wife of Senegalese footballer Sadio Mane, received a lively and grand welcome from her schoolmates as she returned to school after marrying the football star.
The former Liverpool striker, now with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, tied the knot with his young beau in an Islamic wedding in Keur Massar, Dakar’s capital suburb, on Sunday, January 7.
It was gathered that the lovely ceremony took place in Aisha’s family home and was attended by their family and close friends.
Her father, Amadou Tamba, mentioned that Mane first met his daughter over two years ago when she paid a visit to his family with her mother.
A day after the wedding, Tamba returned to school to continue her studies, and interestingly, her schoolmates gave her a grand welcome.
A video making rounds shows the moment a large number of students sang songs to celebrate Tamba and her husband, Mane, while they watched from a balcony.
