Nigerian singer-turned-blogger, Samklef, has opened up about how his former record label boss, Banky W, contributed to his cancellation in the entertainment industry.
He shared his experience while discussing the alleged reasons why some record label bosses cannot condemn those who bullied and harassed Mohbad before he passed away.
The music producer alleged that Banky W initiated a move to cancel him in 2012, along with one of his friends in Soundcity.
According to him, the reason Banky W cannot speak out against Naira Marley and Sam Larry, both accused of harassing and assaulting the recently deceased singer, Mohbad, is because he is also guilty.
He added that the only difference in Banky’s case is that he “was not as violent as Naira Marley.”
He tweeted,
“Banky w The individual who initiated my personal cancel culture! 2012 And one of his friend in Soundcity…he is now a pastor lol. Fellow artists, it’s time to share your genuine experiences! Ron’t hesitate! The reason many of them remain quiet about this matter is that they are aware of their own involvement.
They where not just violent like naira Marley!”
He, however, stated that he has forgiven Banky W but that wouldn’t stop him from speaking about his experience.
