Big Brother Naija star, Mike Edwards has revealed why he voted for his friend and housemate in the All-Stars edition, Seyi Awolowo.
Recall that Mike Edwards was part of the Jury that saved Seyi over Uriel during the live eviction show on Sunday, August 13.
Seyi had the lowest votes in the poll, followed by Uriel and Tolanibaj. However, the decision of the jury, consisting of former housemates Mike, Laycon and Dianne, led to the eviction of Uriel while Seyi still remains in the house.
Following the show, Mike took to his social media page to reveal why he saved Seyi, who was his fellow housemate during the “pepper dem” season in 2019.
The US-born professional athlete disclosed that Seyi has helped him in the past, and he considers it his responsibility to reciprocate kindness from those who have helped him.
Providing proof of this, Mike shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp chat in which Seyi offered to accommodate him after he missed his flight in Lagos.
He also shared a video of an interview featuring Davido, where he explained that it’s good to help people because they will come through for you in your dark times.
“As e dey come down, we dey push am back up✌🏾❤️”, he captioned the post.
