Controversies have served rounds on Nigerian social media, after it was claimed that the #SavaMayowa donations motive was a scam to dupe Nigerians of their hard earned money despite this harsh economy in the country.
Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu has been caught up in this controversy as she is the top celebrity who “tried” to help Mayowa’s situation by sharing her story on her page – after it was alleged that the whole saga was a scam, Aimakhu was displeased, this made storm the hospital Mayowa was in with police officers.
Ever since this motion of hers, Nigerians have been giving all sort of claims that the actress, also wanted a part in the dubious means – well, her colleague, Iyabo Ojo Fespris, is not so happy with this motion by Nigerians as she has gone to her IG page to air her displeasure.
According to Iyabo Ojo, Toyin was only trying to give a helping hand and she needn’t be blamed for whatever is going on now.
She also noted this would discourage celebrities from lending their voices to charity causes next time.
