Comedian Ali Baba won a 2 million naira bet, after he made a pact with a Former minister about the fine imposed on telecommunication giant MTN by the Federal Government.
Apparently, the veteran comedian had predicted that South African President, Jacob Zuma will visit Nigeria to solicit for the company (MTN) in a matter that had the attention of everyone interested in economy and corporate finance.

A fine of $5.2 million was imposed on the company by the Nigerian Communication Commission, before it was cut down to $3.4 billion.
On Zuma’s visit, President Buhari revealed that MTN’s action in not registering customers’ Sim Cards when they should have has led to the loss of 10,000 lives.
