The reigning Queen of ORIENT NIGERIA QUEEN COURAGE UGBOAJA launches her pet project: KICK AGAINST OVARIAN AND CERVICAL CANCER in Uyo Akwa Ibom state.
The event which kicked off with a Cancer Awareness lecture at the University of Uyo Mini Stadium with lots of Female Doctors, University of Uyo, Wife of the Vice Chancellor Mrs Rosaline Essien, Gynaecologist, Students and Beauty Queens.
There was a Novelty Football Match between the Beauty Queens and Female Medical Doctors with a 3-1 defeat against the Queen. The event ended with a presentation of certificates to participants and sponsors present. One of the major Sponsors, Mr Fouad Anthony Aouad, M.D. Chop Stop Fast Food/Bar, the Best eatery in City of Uyo Akwa Ibom State said in his speech that early detection is the key to survival of Cancer.
It was a fun filled day.
I want to see a future where everyone is free from this diseases said Queen Courage Ifeoma Ugboaja, she further said she lost a friend, a dear friend to Ovarian Cancer. As a tribute to her, she decided that as the Queen Of Orient Nigeria 2017/2018, that her pet project will be a Campaign of Awareness, about this killer diseases, thus the theme, Kick Against Ovarian /Cervical Cancer.
“I have decided that all moneys realized from my Pet Project will be used to pick the bills for cancer patients in the hospitals across Nigeria”, Queen Ifeoma also declared.
Names of dignitaries present include wife of the VC Mrs Rosaline Essien, Dr Emenabasi Bassey the guest speaker a senior Consultant in UUTH and former Commissioner for Health Akwa Ibom state.
