Senate President, Bukola Saraki has officially dumped the ruling party, APC.
He announced his decision to leave the party a few minute ago via a tweet from his verified handle which reads, ‘I wish to inform Nigerians that, after extensive consultations, I have decided to take my leave of the All Progressives Congress (APC)’.
He however didn’t reveal which party he’s headed.
In a similar move, the Kwara State governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed has followed suit.
Announcing his defection from APC to PDP, the governor tweeted ; ‘following consultations and in response to calls by major stakeholders in the state, I have moved to the PDP as APC can no longer serve as a platform for achieving the aspirations and expectations of my people’.
