Popular Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem has sparked discussions on social media over a startling revelation that comedian Seyi Law allegedly made to him.
He said that Seyi Law informed him that backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was his biggest mistake and that he regretted doing so.
Eedris Abdulkareem stated in an interview with the Honest Bunch podcast that he met the stand-up comedian at an event and they struck up a conversation on how the situation in Nigeria affects him.
He said that Seyi regretted his choice and bemoaned the incessant abuse and swearing he had been subjected to because of his support for Tinubu.
According to the musician, Seyi Law also revealed that he stopped receiving money from people at his shows and that he was not compensated for standing on his mandate.
He said; “I was in an event yesterday and Seyi Law, came up and said ‘Abeg make una no vex oo, everybody don curse me tired because I stand for Tinubu say, ‘Na your mandate I dey’, he said ‘I no dey your mandate again o.”
