A Nigerian pastor has been arrested after he refused to refund one of his members, who mistakenly sent One Million naira (1 million) instead of One Hundred thousand (100,000K).
After several persuasions, the pastor stood his ground and refused to return the money claiming that it is now God’s money.
Exhausted by the pastor’s stubbornness he decided to apply the advice of some internet users, who suggested that he arrest the self-acclaimed man of God.
In a video that was shared on the microblogging platform X the man was seen at the pastor’s house with multiple military men.
The tweet which accompanied the video read;
“Wahala!! Pastor received N1,000,000 in his account instead of N100K, and he refused to send back the N900,000 that topped the money!! The church member notified him immediately that he mistakenly sent 1m instead of 100K, but the Pastor insist that the money belongs to God!“
While the man told the pastor why the military men were in his house, the pastor was seen looking around, trying to avoid being seen on camera.
Below are some of the comments;
@iamovih: There are lots of demons and monsters out there disguising as men of God, it’s very had to identify them until you have a one-on-one encounter with them
@symplyDAPO: This is very simple matter and should never have reached this level. Just refund the money back immediately
@heisG3eorge: Shameless pastor, from his body movement you’ll know he’s fake…they go to church every Sunday to “preach the word of Christ” meanwhile doing the exact opposite of what they are preaching
@Did I just hear the online have asked me to make it legal? So you first have to consult with social media before doing the right thing?
