Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Charles Chibueze Chukwu, popularly known as Crayon, has expressed immense joy after moving his parents out of the ‘trenches’ to a new crib.
Crayon, who is signed to Mavin Records, took to his Twitter page to share the exciting news on Wednesday, December 21, and described it as the best Christmas gift to himself.
The singer, who recently revealed that he has not seen his parents since 2017, said he can finally go home after 5 years.
He tweeted,
“I recently just moved my parents out of the trenches to a new crib! Hallelujah! My best Christmas gift to myself ever! Now I can finally go home after 5 years! I’m so so happy! I feel fulfilled! No more lekki foods, Small hungry like this I don run go house go chop come back!”
A while back, Crayon revealed that he has not gone to visit his parents since 2017.
Crayon, who got signed to Mavin Record in 2019, took to Twitter to make this disclosure on Tuesday, August 9.
He said he left his parent’s house to chase his musical career five years ago and has not returned since then, even though their home is barely two hours away from his current location.
According to the 22-year-old ‘Ijo’ crooner, this is one of the sacrifices he has to make for his career.
