Some celebrities have spoken out in the defense of deceased pastor, Reverend TB Joshua, after he was accused of rape, forceful abortion, ritualism, sexual assault, and other offenses in a newly released BBC documentary.
The social media space has been ignited with outrage since the incriminating documentary was made public. In the three-part footage, some former members of the church opened up about their terrible experiences with the clergyman.
He was accused of staging miracles in his church, acting like a mini-god, sleeping with his female disciples every night, requesting for virgins to defile, applying honey in his underwear before wearing them, e.t.c.
In light of the accusations, singer Victor Adere has taken to social media to defend TB Joshua’s legacy. He shared a video of the late clergyman preaching in his church with the caption,
“One thing is clear — I have NEVER seen where lies overcome truth… No matter how long a lie is sustained, the truth will someday prevail. #tbjoshualegacyliveson.”

Victor AD’s association with TB Joshua is no secret, as he previously granted an interview where he shared how TB Joshua healed him of a skin disease and saved his family.
Veteran musician Daddy Showkey also took to Instagram to dismiss the BBC documentary.

Zimbabwean media personality, Vimbai Mutinhiri, on her part, shared a video interview with TB Joshua’s former lawyer, Olalekan Ojo (SAN), where he said it would be wrong to dignify the accusations with a response.
In the caption, Vimbai wrote: “Our father in the Lord’s legacy lives on.”
Vimbai was a devoted member of TB Joshua’s Church, and she spoke highly of him. Following his passing, she reminisced about how he provided shelter for her when her sister passed away.
