Nigerian content creator, Olagunju Solomon Olamide, popularly known as Akika, has lost his son, Ilerioluwa to the cold hands of death.
The ski tmaker shared the heartbreaking news on his Instagram page on Sunday, June 18.
Akika revealed that his son passed away on Sunday morning while he was searching for a perfect picture to post on social media to celebrate Father’s Day.
“I was looking for a perfect picture of me and him to post, so I could celebrate myself as a father. My son is gone, Ilerioluwa till lore. I lost my son this morning 😭😭😭 Rest In Peace INIOLUWA ADIGUN,” Akika wrote.

In other news, a Nigerian woman, Taiwo Ajayi, has taken to social media to call out her estranged husband, popular clergyman, Pastor Joseph Okpongete, accusing him of domestic violence, threats to her life, and financial abuse.
In a Facebook post titled “A CRY FOR HELP,” Taiwo shared her harrowing experience during her 12-year marriage to Okpongete, who reportedly serves as a pastor at the House on the Rock Church in Lagos.
According to Taiwo, the alleged physical, sexual, emotional, and psychological abuse began during their honeymoon and persisted even when she was pregnant with their first child.
Having been separated from Okpongete for four years, Taiwo pleaded with Nigerians and church leaders to come to her aid as he allegedly threatens her for filing for divorce and refusing to reconcile with him. Continue reading…
