Nigerian singer, Simi has subtly reacted to the backlash and insults Banky W recently received on micro-blogging site, twitter.
According to her, ‘my issue with social media politics in Nigeria is we get so carried away by the anonymous power social media gives us, that we tend to waste so much time focusing on the least important things. Things that basically have no long term impact’.
Banky W was called ‘Gorimapa Chris Brown’ and ‘Roll on head’ and a lot of twitter users jumped on it and those words made it to the trend table of Twitter NG.
Simi is now frowning against the act of some Nigerians spending so much energy focusing on unimportant things.
