Popular Nigerian singer, BNXN, formerly known as Buju, has received backlash following the release of the visuals for his hit track “Gwagwalada,” featuring Kizz Daniel and Seyi Vibez.
The music video was released on Tuesday, March 7th, and has since caused a buzz online.
The visuals, which was shot by Perlinks Definition, featured a scene of ladies dressed like nuns smoking, and this sparked outrage.
Netizens apparently considered the concept of “nuns smocking” offensive and noted that it was disrespectful to the Christian community.
