A South African man got punished for allegedly stealing money from his grandmother in the Soshanguve community in Pretoria, South Africa.
According to reports, members of the community nabbed him, beat him up and after that, tied him to the tree on Wednesday morning, August 25.
It was gathered as well that another alleged thief, pictured below, was caught stealing electrical cables by community members and also tied to the tree few days ago.
In other news, a Kenyan househelp, identified as Rebecca Isiche Elumbe, got arrested and charged for stealing her employer’s valuables.
It was gathered that Elumbe stole three sets of gold chains valued at Sh300,000, Sh90,000 in cash, and a mobile phone worth Sh40,000 at her employer, Maryann Abdi’s house in Royal Park Estate in Langata, Nairobi on August 2.
According to reports, she fled with the stolen items and went to spend the night at her boyfriend, Kennedy Kimanthi’s house. She reportedly gave him Sh1000 from the stolen cash and the mobile phone, then left for Eldoret.
