Popular Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has told people to stop pretending that transactional sex for survival is not a common practice.
She took to Twitter to make this assertion amid the ongoing conversation about celebrities living extravagant lifestyles that is not commensurate to their income.
Recall that the discourse started after actor, Kunle Remi, questioned how his female colleagues are able to afford their lifestyles despite earning similar income with him.
In an apparent reaction to this and the accompanying reactions, Lydia Forson asked people to stop acting like they don’t know people trade sex for favours.
She added that women are not the only culprits because men are also involved in exchanging sex for favors.
“So many of you trade sex for survival not because it’s what you want;
but the system makes it exceptionally hard for you to tow the righteous path.
I’m not judging you, I’m just saying STOP acting like women & men ( yes them too) aren’t sucking d**k under the table for jobs,” she tweeted on Wednesday, January 25.
