Popular Nigerian singer, Emeka Akumefule better known as Blaqbonez has warned fans against doing the viral alcohol challenge.
Lately there’s been a viral “alcohol challenge” trend on video sharing platform, TikTok, where people pour things on their body or even go as far as drinking different substances while using Joeboy’s hit track, ‘Alcohol’ as background music.
An excerpt from the song reads, “That’s why I sip my alcohol.. I don’t wanna reason bad things no more (Oh no)
I don’t wanna go back to where I dey before. Make nobody stress me no disturb me..I sip my alcohol”, so to properly depict the lyrics, creatives on TikTok go to any extent which includes drinking harmful substances, like bleach.
Rapper, Blaqbonez has now reacted urging fans to stop drinking substances that can be harmful to their health in the name of a challenge.
Taking to his Insta-stories he wrote,
“Stop drinking harmful things in the name of challenges, don’t do it with anybody’s song. It’s not worth it. Stop!!”.
