A transgender woman reportedly committed suicide hours after she posted a Facebook suicide note pleading for better understanding from the society.
26 year old Ashley Hallstrom, said she could not stand to live another day in the post then stepped into the path of a lorry.
She’s quoted in the post:
“The reason why I’ve decided to do this is because I’m transgender… I’m writing all of this because I’ve [sic] need my story to be shared”

Shortly after she posted the message, Ashley stepped into the path of an oncoming truck.
Worried friends commented on her post and pleaded with her not to come to harm but it was unfortunately too late.
