Popular Nigerian singer, Asake on Thursday night paid tribute to those who died during his concert in London, United Kingdom.
Recall that a mother of two, Rebecca Ikumelo, and a 23-year-old security detail, Gabrielle Hutchinson, lost their lives after being injured in a stampede at Asake’s concert at Brixton Academy.
Following the tragic incident, the “Joha” crooner who returned on stage in Lagos last night, December 22, paused his performance to pay tribute to the deceased.
A video currently making the rounds captures the emotional moment Asake asks the crowd to observe silence in honour of the two lives that were lost during the stampede.

In other news, reality tv star, Segun Olusemo, popularly known as Sheggz or Mr. Ikoyi has called out social media critics monitoring his wardrobe.
The controversial footballer took to the microblogging platform to respond to trolls, who constantly criticized him for repeating his clothes.
Sheggz admitted that he loved his outfits and would continue wearing them until he became bored with them.
According to him, he was not on social media to form or pretend to anyone so he had a right to do as he pleased.
In his words;
“I love some of my clothes so much, I’m going to wear them numerous times till I get bored. Not out here to form anything, been soft before this and will keep being soft. 🙏🏽❤️”
