A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to lament bitterly after her newly built house was engulfed by a surging flood in her community.
In recent times, many states in Nigeria have been ravaged by floods. Only a few days ago, a family of six lost their lives in Anambra state after floodwater surged into their home and drowned them all. ICYMI.
The lady whose newly built house was submerged by flood, in a video she shared on social media lamenting her situation said she spent her last penny on the house to see it finished so she could move in.
Unfortunately, the flood wrecked havoc on the newly built house before she could move in.
The video showed the house before the incident and the current state of the house engulfed in floodwater.

In other news, the video of a commercial bus driver engaging in a quite heated argument with an armed policeman has left netizens stunned online.
According to reports surrounding the video, the driver travelled with passengers from Abuja and was heading to Warri. After being on the road for many hours, they met some police officers who usually carry out stop and search operation.
The video shows the moment where the driver and a particular armed policeman were having a heated argument, though it is not clear what led to the argument. As can be seen in the video, the driver who was seemingly unperturbed by the armed policeman, threatened to come back to deal with him.
At some point in their argument, the police officer corked his gun but this didn’t stop the driver from making threats. It’s however claimed that the driver is a military officer.
