Nigerian singer, Tems, has seemingly debunked reports that she is in a romantic relationship with her manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi.

Recall that on Sunday, June 11, Muyiwa, the singer’s manager, sparked speculations when he penned a romantic note to Tems on her 28th birthday.

The note caused a huge stir on the microblogging platform, Twitter, as Muyiwa described Tems as his twin, best friend, love, all-around angel, and expressed how honored he is to have her in his life.

“Happy birthday to my twin, best friend, and all-around angel. I’m so honored to have you in my life, @temsbaby. God knew exactly what he was doing. We’ve been through so much already, and we haven’t even started yet. Have an amazing day, love, and see you,” he wrote. Read here.

Muyiwa’s heartfelt message and choice of words in the post led many to conclude that they were in a romantic relationship.

However, in her reaction to the post, Tems quoted Muyiwa’s tweet and expressed gratitude to him, referring to him as her brother and friend.

“Thank you for being an amazing brother and friend, it’s for life đź’–,” she wrote.
