Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi widely known as Tems, has set tongues wagging on social media over the way she hugged her colleague Wizkid at a recent concert
The Afrobeat sensations, who are best known for their hit song ‘Essence’, performed together at the much-anticipated ‘Essence Fest’ on Sunday night, July 2.
After their energetic performance, Wizkid took a moment to express his gratitude and give a speech dedicated to Tems, who is 28 years old.
During this time, what caught people’s attention was the way Tems held tightly onto Wizkid and rubbed his arms affectionately before giving him a warm embrace. All the while, Wizkid didn’t reciprocate the hug and simply continued speaking.
This singular incident has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with many calling out Tems for inappropriately touching Wizkid instead of respecting his boundaries.
