Nigerian singer and songwriter, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng better known as Skales has narrated how he narrowly escaped killing a girl while driving on the Lekki-Epe expressway.
The singer via his Instagram story narrated his experience, stating that he was driving on the speed lane when the little girl suddenly ran into his car.
He revealed that he was scared thinking the girl had died due to the extent to which she flipped in the air and hurriedly called for help. The girl was rushed to the hospital and confirmed to be alive.
Skales has summoned the government for the provision of pedestrian bridges to avoid casualties on the expressway.
He wrote,
“Just had one of the craziest experience in my life…while driving on Lekki epe expressway, a lil girl ran into the gaddamn express way and I was driving on the speed lane and hit her…I was so scared! I saw her body fly over! I thought she was gone. So I parked and asked folks around for help to get her in my car and go to the hospital.. I was so confused ! Thinking I have killed someone.. THANK YOU JESUS WE GOT HER TO THE HOSPITAL THEY CONFIRMED SHE’LL be okay ! I paid the bills and handed everything else over to her parents including some money… the govt needs to do something about pedestrian crossing the expressway.. oh my Gosh what a day my life is really a movie ! Fuck!! “
