Veteran singer, 2face Idibia has shared his thoughts on the monies said to have been looted by former military dictator, late General Sani Abacha.
Taking to his Instastories, 2face opined that Abacha possibly didn’t steal the billions of dollars linked to him, but kept them in foreign accounts away from people who wanted to loot them.
According to him, if the monies were indeed looted by the former head of state, successive governments would not have been able to recover them.
Speaking further, 2baba questioned what the recovered funds has been used for by the present government, insinuating that it will be re-looted.
He wrote,
“If to say Abacha actually thief this money we for no fit recover am. abi na only me dey think this thing.
I think he tried to keep it away from this thieving hands (my personal opinion). If not pls tell me what has become of all the recovered funds?
