Award winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has said Nigerian youths now understand the power they have.
Wizkid’s statement came shortly after the IGP announced the disbandment of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) of the Nigeria Police Force.
Wizkid took to his social media page to advise young Nigerians to always stand and fight for their rights.
He tweeted ;
Now my people .. you see what our voices did…this is the beginning of a new Nigeria! Nigerian youths!! Know your rights and fight for it ! You deserve it. We all deserve it!!
Now they know we have a voice!!! And we the youths understand the power we have. We shall continue to speak up about other pressing issues/police brutality and good governance! Why I said “This is just the beginning”
