Nigerian singer Davido’s aide, Isreal DMW, has caused a stir with his comment on a recent video of Nigerian crossdresser, James Brown.
It all began when celebrity blogger Tunde Ednut shared a video of James Brown being interviewed at an event by media personality, Timi Agbeje on his Instagram page.
In the video, James Brown, dressed in a pink dress, is seen exhibiting his usual feminine gestures while answering Tumi Agbaje’s questions.
However, the video appeared to have infuriated Isreal DMW, who didn’t hold back in expressing his disapproval.
He took to the comment-section of the post and challenged the self-acclaimed princess of Africa to behave in that manner when he visits Benin City.
“Just come and do this rubbish in Benin city. We dey wait”, Isreal wrote on Instagram.
Isreal DMW’s comment quickly sparked a wave of controversy on social media, with some individuals rallying behind him, while others criticized him for allegedly threatening James Brown.

A while ago, Isreal DMW debunked reports that he made homophobic comments about popular influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa.
Isreal DMW was recently accused of going on a homophobic rant against Enioluwa on his WhatsApp status. He was said to have accused Enioluwa of being gay and had stated that 30BG (Davido’s crew) is not in support of gays.
He was also alleged to have said, “Enioluwa is into rubbish, and his supporters would claim that it’s content.”
“We are not in support of gay, God forbid bad thing. They are into rubbish, and their useless supporters would say it’s content,” the WhatsApp status read.
However, Isreal debunked the reports in a post he shared on his Instagram stories. According to him, the write-up was never from him but from impersonators pretending to be him.
“The write-up was never from me. It is purely a manufactured fake account from impersonators. Thanks, everyone. Never from me at all. I have no such account. Thanks, everyone,” he wrote.
