Pastor Tunde Bakare, who lost out emphatically at the recent APC Presidential primary has been trending on social media due to an old video of him telling his congregation that he will succeed President Buhari as the number one citizen in the country.
While preaching in church on the said day, the clergyman said;
”Take it to the mountain top. If you have never heard it before I am saying it to you, in the scheme of things, as far as the politics of Nigeria is concerned, President Buhari is number 15 and yours truly is number 16.
I have never said that to you before. I make it plain this morning. I let you know it this morning, nothing can change it in the name of Jesus”
“I carry grace. I carry favor. I carry God-factor. Give me the opportunity to speak with party delegates and you will see what will happen. “The president is 15th and I’ll be number 16th,” He said before the election.

Pastor Bakare was among the aspirants who bought the N100 million for the APC presidential nomination form but he could not gain a single vote from the delegates at the concluded party presidential primary.
