A traditional ruler in Rivers state has narrated how a woman put to bed safely after shouting the “God of Nyesom Wike” three times.
A video of the monarch sharing the story with Governor Wike and his entourage at a function in Ahoda community has gone viral since it was shared online.
While addressing the governor, the royal father said a pregnant lady who was in labour had gone to the hospital to give birth yesterday, January 10, but found it difficult to deliver her baby.
He said the pregant woman overheard the nurses talking about the Governor’s planned visit to their community today, January 11.
According to the monarch, when she heard the governor’s name, the pregnant woman started shouting “The God of Nyesom Wike, let me deliver safely”. He claimed that after she said those words, she gave birth to her baby with ease.
The traditional ruler further disclosed that the family of the woman are planning to name their baby boy after the governor.
