Media personality, Latasha Ngwube, has slammed her male colleague, Frank Edoho, over his comment on the squabble between Anambra Governor, Charles Soludo, and Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Recall that Frank Edoho took to Twitter to berate Igbo politicians for not supporting their kinsman who is in the presidential race, while accusing them of trying to sabotage his campaign with their constant attacks.
His tweet came barely 48 hours after Governor Soludo said Peter Obi knows he doesn’t stand a chance in the presidential election and he’s only playing a game which they (politicians) are all aware of.
In a seeming reaction to Soludo’s statement, Frank Edoho tweeted,
“Igbo politicians will never stop baffling me. You have the rare opportunity of one of your kin being President but instead of supporting and clamoring for him like Yoruba and Hausa people do with their candidates, you look for ways to disrupt and thwart him! Tufia Kwa!”
However, Frank’s tweet didn’t sit well with Latasha who felt he was being tribalistic and asked him to stop making such comment. She added that it’s wrong to support a candidate because of his tribe, rather than his competency.
